Life on the {Scrap}beach Cyber Crop for February

WOW, what a day I've had, I've been mad at it scrapping for the Life on the {Scrap}Beach cyber crop for February, I have managed 4 of the 6 so far, not sure I will get the other two done, but more than happy with my effort!

Challenge #1 - The first challenge is to make a layout about a father ~ either your father, the father of your children or a father figure.

As most of you know, I don't know my dad, so I did a "Father Figure" layout...





















Challenge #2 - The second challenge is to make a layout about honesty. This could include a layout about being true to yourself, or a story about a time when honesty wasn't the best policy or any other variation on theme of honesty.

This one I decided to do a layout about me feeling of being true to myself... titled, The True Me





















Challenge #3 - In honor of February's favorite groundhog, the third challenge is to make a layout, card or other project using the shadow stamping technique.

I was a bit stuck for this one, so decided to make an ATC as I was too scared to make an entire layout, now that I have tried my hand though, I might just use this technique on a future layout, thanks Kathryn for the nudge!














Challenge #4 - The fourth challenge is to create a layout or project either about or for the love of your life. It could be a layout about your Starbucks addiction, or a card for a loved one to let them know how much they mean to you.

After nineteen years of marriage, you sometimes forget to let the other one know how you really feel, I decided not to become complacent, so this one is for Paul :D Love you hunny!

I WON I WON!!

OMG, I won over at Life on the {Scrap}beach Cyber Crop for January and didn't even know (LOL@ME)... I get a bit lost over there sometimes, so am still not 100% sure which layout won, but it doesn't matter, the important bit to remember is I WON! ROF

Super excited, and wanted to thank Hope so much... here is what she donated for my prize, so excited!!

I will show you the Layouts I did for this:

#1: Quit Smoking - The first challenge is to make a layout without using any black, white or grey.

A fun layout with Larissa and her best friend Ally... love this picture and love how this layout turned out.

#3: Spend More Time with Family - The third challenge is to make a layout about your family.

I now this is a well scrapped photo, but its my favourite and I have lots of albums that it can be apart of, so here is another spin on it...

#8: I {HEART} The Beach BONUS CHALLENGE! - This challenge is to make a layout abut how much you love The Beach and why. And I don't mean that place where you get sand in your shorts ~ I mean this web community. So tell me, why do YOU love The Beach?

This was fun to do as well, there are so many reason why I love it over at The Beach, but to be able to do a Layout for it was just fabulous, has me inspired to do some more on other scrappy sites I frequent :D

















As you can probably tell by the numbers of the challenges, I didn't get them all done, but I was happy to get the ones done that I did do :D
