May LOAD

Well it's that time again, I'm doing LOAD for May, and super excited!

Once again I will share my layouts when the month has finished, and I cannot wait to see what Lain has in store for us this month, I loved doing LOAD in Feb, and I was amazed that I actually kept up with it as well!

Our first challenge has just been posted, so I better go get my butt into gear, wish me luck!

What I am reading this month

So, I got home from my appointment to find I had parcels on my door! YAY, I love parcels, who doesn't right? Much better than BILLS anyday... so anyways, the parcels, what was in them, two brand new books for me to devour, very excited!

The first, 52 More Scrapbooking Challenges by Elizabeth Kartchner


Very excited about this, I have the first one and it was wonderful for kick-starting my creativity at the time, so this one has come just in time! Super awesome!

The second book, one I've been wanting since I first heard it was coming out, Page Maps 2 by Becky Fleck - I love her sketches, and again I have the first book so was just dying to see the 2nd!



So there is my mini-haul for today! Now off to find a comfortable spot and ignore the world for a while!

ADSR #6

So Sharon and I have joined in the ADSR (Amazing Digi Scrapping Race) over at Natural Designs in Scrapbooking and so far I'm having a blast! BUT I forgot to share my first two challenges.. so here they are:

Challenge #1:



This used the Spring Cleaning Customer Appreciation kit from NDIS and it was fun to use a kit outside the "theme" that it was intended for.

Challenge #2:



Because I had so much fun using a kit outside the theme, I did it again with another NDIS Appreciation Kit, this time the Sprinkling Spring.

Now Challenge #3 & #4 are due midnight tonight (NDIS time, not Aust time) and once they've been submitted I will share them here (also if I remember!!)

Small Haul

I just wanted to share with you these adorable doilies...



and pins I got today!



I love ETSY - the seller on these amazing products is The Chip Chop Shop and she's in Australia so you won't have to wait for your goodies to arrive, I got mine super fast!!

I am just in love with the colours of the doilies and cannot wait to start up a project with them.

If you have any ideas or have used doilies before, I'd love to hear/see what you've done with them, I need some inspiration here girls! Leave a comment and get me inspired!
